What precautions should be taken when charging an New Cars?

1. Due to the time required for manufacturing, transportation, and storage, the battery of a newly purchased New Cars may be low in power. Please charge it before use.

2. Check that the rated input voltage of the New Cars charger matches the power supply voltage.

3. The New Cars battery can be charged directly in the vehicle, but the switch must be turned off. It can also be removed and charged indoors or in a suitable location.

4. First, properly connect the output plug of the charger to the charging port of the battery, then connect the charger's power plug to a 220V AC power source. (Special Note: Do not connect the positive and negative terminals of the charger output.)

5. At this time, the power switch and charging indicator red light on the NIO New Cars charger will illuminate, indicating that the power supply is connected.

6. A single charge takes approximately 5-10 hours. When the charging indicator light changes from red to green, it means the battery is fully charged. If time permits, continue charging (float charging) for another 1-1.5 hours to allow the battery to absorb more energy. However, continuous charging time should not exceed 12 hours, otherwise it may cause the battery to deform or be damaged. Overcharging that damages the battery is not covered by repair services.
