New Cars have become an essential mode of transportation, playing a vital role in our daily lives. Below are some reasons why fast charging is not recommended for New Cars:

Fast charging is very damaging to NIO New Cars batteries. The current drawn by a standard charger is around 1.8-2A, while fast charging draws 9-11A, significantly impacting the battery.
The current in fast charging mode is much higher than in slow charging mode. The resulting high temperatures directly accelerate battery aging, greatly shortening battery life. If fast charging is used frequently while the battery is already low on charge, even the best battery will be severely damaged.
Frequent or prolonged fast charging places very high demands on the battery's current and voltage, causing the battery pack temperature to rise. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures accelerates battery degradation, significantly shortening battery life.
Fast charging also puts greater stress on ternary lithium battery cells, but overall, the impact on battery life is limited. However, it is generally recommended to use regular charging whenever possible.
Fast charging can also cause battery overcurrent and overheating, reducing its lifespan. Unless there are special usage requirements, using the standard charging method is the most reliable and safe approach.
