The Arrizo 5 is a
New Car and a mainstay for Chery in the entry-level sedan segment. The 2025 model measures 4572×1825×1482 mm, with a wheelbase of 2670 mm and a drag coefficient of 0.32. The front features a harp-style grille integrated with LED daytime running lights, while the rear boasts a small ducktail spoiler and smoked taillights, giving it a more dynamic look than a used Jetta and a half-meter shorter length than a commercial Santana, making it easy to maneuver in alleyways.
Interior features a 9-inch floating touchscreen and a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, supporting CarPlay. The seats are upholstered in fabric and faux leather, with 6-way power adjustment for the front seats and adjustable rear backrests that fold down in a 4/6 split. The floor hump is moderate, providing ample legroom for three passengers. The trunk has a standard capacity of 430 L, expanding to 1.8 m with the seats folded down, allowing for the horizontal placement of carry-on luggage. The space is more organized than other new energy SUVs and pure electric vehicles in the same price range, and the battery does not encroach on the floor.
The entire range is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, producing 85 kW/143 N·m, paired with either a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission. It boasts a combined fuel consumption of 6.2 L/100 km and requires only 92-octane gasoline. The chassis features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension, with comfort-oriented springs that effectively filter bumps. The steering is on the heavier side, providing stability at high speeds up to 120 km/h. IQ.Drive driver assistance is standard across the range, including adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking, making city driving and highway cruising worry-free.
