The Nano 01 is a pure electric small car labeled "
New Car," and Dongfeng's latest masterpiece in making "frameless doors + fast charging" a commuter champion in the 80,000 RMB price range. Its compact body of 3620×1660×1605mm, coupled with a 2423mm wheelbase and a drag coefficient of 0.29, gives it a more dynamic look than the used Benben (a popular Chinese car brand), and a more refined appearance than the boxy commercial microvan. It allows for easy U-turns and maneuverability in alleyways.
The interior features a "light luxury digital cockpit" that seamlessly blends technology and space: the 5-door, 4-seat layout allows for a 670mm wide rear door opening, enabling adults to enter and exit without folding down the front seats; a 12.8-inch floating screen and a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster form a dual-screen setup, supporting wireless CarPlay, a transparent chassis, and full-vehicle FOTA updates. Voice control allows for navigation and air conditioning, offering more intuitive operation than other
new energy vehicles in the same price range; the rear seatbacks are adjustable and can be folded down in a 4/6 split, providing a standard 300L trunk capacity that expands to 945L with the seats folded down, allowing for the flat placement of skis and carry-on suitcases. The space is more organized than that of similarly sized pure electric microcars, and the battery does not encroach on the floor.
The entire lineup features a Mach E 10-in-1 electric drive system: a 70kW/160N·m rear-mounted motor, accelerating from 0-50km/h in 4.1 seconds. CLTC offers two range options: 330km and 430km. It supports 30%-80% fast charging in 30 minutes, with a power consumption of 10.6kWh per 100km. A full charge via a standard 220V household slow charger takes only one night. Its 3.3kW external discharge capability transforms it into a mobile power station for camping. Even in extreme cold weather testing down to -30℃, it maintains 75% range, providing greater peace of mind for users in northern regions compared to pure electric new energy vehicles.
The annual electricity cost for the entire vehicle is less than 1,000 yuan, half the cost of a used gasoline car. Compared to commercial MPVs, it has a shorter body and is easier to park; compared to older used models, the new car has frameless doors and L2-level intelligent driving; compared to other pure electric vehicles in the same class, it offers a 430km range, four doors, and fast charging at a price of around 60,000 yuan, making it suitable for city commuting, grocery shopping, and picking up kids. It transforms "a pure electric masterpiece for the people" into a kind of understated luxury.
