The Maxus EV30 is a pure electric
commercial vehicle designed for urban logistics, and SAIC Maxus's
New Car model that sets a benchmark for "high cargo capacity, fuel efficiency, and long range." The 2025 model offers two body styles: a short wheelbase of 4500mm and a long wheelbase of 5090mm. The cargo box has a volume of 6.2-6.3m³, an interior width of 1700mm, and a floor height of only 540mm, eliminating the need to bend over for loading and unloading. The double tailgate can open 180°, allowing forklifts to load directly, making it easier than older used fuel-powered light
Commercial Vehicles and more organized than similarly sized new energy micro-trucks.
Standard interior features include knitted seats and manual air conditioning. A 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth smartphone mirroring is optional. Front power windows and a remote key are also included. A driver's side airbag is standard on the CATL version and optional on the Guoxuan version. ABS+EBD and rear parking sensors are standard across the entire range, providing greater peace of mind in stop-and-go city driving. The cargo box features PVC stain-resistant flooring and fully covered side walls, making it easy to clean. It can handle cold chain logistics, express delivery, and furniture distribution all in one vehicle.
Powered by a 100kW/225N·m front-mounted single motor, it boasts a maximum gradeability of 25% and a top speed of 80km/h, fully calibrated for urban driving conditions. A 41.86kWh lithium iron phosphate battery (CATL or Guoxuan) provides a CLTC range of 261km. DC fast charging can charge it to 80% in 45 minutes, and a 15-minute charge provides 75km of range. The electricity cost per 100km is approximately 11 yuan, more than half that of a gasoline vehicle. The battery pack has been tested from -30℃ to +50℃, and after 8 years/160,000km, its energy storage capacity still retains over 75%, ensuring normal operation even in northern winters.
Compared to commercial MPVs, its cargo box is square and not encroached upon by wheel arches; compared to used light commercial vehicles, the new car offers fast charging, battery preheating, and remote key; compared to similarly priced
new energy vehicles, it offers a super-large cargo box of 6m³ and a load capacity of 3 tons, making it suitable for multiple uses such as urban delivery, community group buying, and nighttime cold chain logistics.
